    SFHR Update #1:Strike Force Heroes: Remastered Collection
    Hey you! Justin & Mike here from Sky9 Games! Although quiet, we've been reading many of your comments/questions over the years, and are extremely grateful for the community that has been built around our games, specifically Strike Force Heroes!
    We've been playing with the idea of remastering the entire SFH series, and as our biggest SFH fans we'd like to get your input!
    But first! Answers to some common questions we've seen around.
    Where have you guys been since 2015?
    We actually spent years on a large-scale zelda-like videogame, stayed quiet as we were sworn to secrecy by our publishers. However near the end of development it was ultimately taken over and completed by another development studio. Since then we've gone back to our roots of fast paced shooty-slashy action and are working on the next huge project. We're about a year into it and will make some official announcements when we have enough content to show!
    What is Strike Force Heroes: Remastered Collection?
    Were considering taking a short break to put all Strike Force Heroes' as a single 'collection' game on steam for a small fee, to help fund our next big game.
    However, we'd want to completely remake the series on modern game engines to do it the justice it deserves. Meaning fullscreen with controller support, updated mechanics + visuals, possible additions such as split screen coop.
    Keeping in mind this isn't a full revival, and just a possible small-release to keep our next project afloat-- we'd like your input on some possible design decision updates to make the game as seamless as possible without ruining the original experience.

    We were considering blending all 3 into 1 seamless campaign with all upgrades/classes/weapons available.

        SFHR Update #2:Strike Force Heroes Remastered Art
        Hey guys! We really want to keep you in the loop throughout the process of developing the remastered SFH so in honor of that we'd like to gather your feedback on the artwork. The Remaster will have 100% brand new art (unfortunately we are unable to use the existing artwork as it is too low resolution for a full 1080p game) so with that in mind we'd like to know your thoughts on the new style of the SFH2 heroes. Do you prefer a more cartoony/stylized look or a more realistic/comic booky look for the characters/weapons? Discuss in the comments below and your feedback will inform which direction we head in!

              SFHR Update #3:SFH Remastered Art 2.0
              Hey guys! We just wanted to update you with an alternate version of the art style (it was a little unfair to compare a brand new style to nearly 10 year old drawings) as well as clear up a few things. For starters, what you see in these images are actual game models, not concept drawings, they are made from the exact pieces that will appear in the game (though the art itself is not final).
              Second, the SFH Remaster will adopt the same uniform system as SFH 2 so you will be able to mix and match different helmets and body pieces as well as the camo system. These drawings are currently using different colors for the uniforms as the camo system is not set up yet.
              Third, as many have noted, the weapons are those found in SFH3 (with some very slight modifications) as SFH3 had the most detailed guns, though they are not necessarily as they will appear in game. The weapons system will also be overhauled with attachments and camos but that's a subject for another day...

                SFHR 更新#3:SFH重置美术2.0

                        SFHR Update #4:Remastered collection and SFH 3
                        Hellooo! Today I'd like to talk about the Remastered Collection, SFH3, and the future of the series.
                        The Elephant in the room
                        - SFH3 and the problems it creates -
                        While SFH3 added some nice mechanics, we know it was far from what was expected after original two. As I may have mentioned before, SFH3 also poses a number of problems with the remaster:
                        How do we fit it's non-existant campaign into the other games
                        It would be hard to create a new campaign with the random maps it has
                        Would it be weird having identical maps with different visuals in the same game?(I.e. SFH1 Airplane vs SFH3 Volcano)
                        Do we completely ignore the squad system, or still use some form of it?
                        Do we keep it's high tech weapons/classes in the first two games?
                        Embrace and expand
                        - Giving more of what you love, and less of what you don't -
                        Because of those problems, we were thinking of dropping SFH3 from the collection all together, and instead spending our time and resources on expanding SFH1&2 to be a much larger experience. Here's some ideas of what to expect:
                        New features: Controller, Split screen Multiplayer/Coop, etc. (These were always planned)
                        Refined classes: New killstreaks/skills/pick-10 equipment, etc.
                        New modes: Fleshed out zombies, First person sniping, Horde defense, etc.
                        Expanded campaign, challenges: New story missions, dialogue, cutscenes, maps, to further develop the story and tie everything together.
                        MUCH more detailed missions: All missions remade to be much more unique and varied. REAL BOSS fights. (No more simple 1v1's on top of a missile)
                        Instead of spending half our time trying to get SFH3 to awkwardly fit with the others. We would like to dedicate that time to completely reimagining SFH1&2. Not just a simple remake, but what they could have been.
                        The future of SFH

                          By dropping the 3rd game, this leaves us open to make a real sequel in the future without the odd half-story the 3rd game brought. And who knows, maybe it'll have online multiplayer, maybe even be 3D.
                          No one knows what the future may bring, but we know we want to do the series justice. It's our pride and joy. We really want to put everything we can into it, and deliver the same experience you all felt 9 years ago when playing for the first time.

                            进一步更加详细的任务:所有任务都已重制,变得更加独特和多样化。还有真正的BOSS战。(不再是SFH1中在导弹上简单的1v1) 我们想把这段时间用于完全重新构筑 SFH1&2而不是花费我们一半的时间试图让 SFH3 与前作生拉硬拽地强行适应。并非仅仅只是将SFH系列简单的重做,而是要把它们做成本应该有的样子。
                            SFH的未来:

                              重制公告
                              今天,我将回顾我们将要做出的所有更改,以便让三部作品都能融入良好的无缝体验。内容有点多,阅读时间会很长,所以做好准备!
                              问题:三部作品的处理方式都非常不同
                              SFH1:你是故事的主角。故事包含一些配角,这些角色的语音与你选择的实际兵种不同。连杀技能语音是由一个不知名的人配的。
                              SFH2:你是一个无名小卒,但你选择的 5 个兵种才是实际的英雄。他们都有完整的配音,能说出他们自己的连杀台词等等。
