And on Sunday Katie Holmes took her daughter Suri Cruise, 13, to Fordham University in New York. Katie and Tom Cruise's little girl turned 13 this past April and already seems to be familiarizing herself with the university experience. The school offers various summer programs to high school students, and when the mother-daughter duo stopped by they headed to the law department.

Suri may be following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Martin Holmes, who is a lawyer in her mother's home state of Ohio.

The mother-daughter duo matched in denim pants as they went to the private college.

The 40-year-old paired her cropped jeans with a long-sleeved striped white and black shirt and red leather loafers.
