我的声明：
1、我英文真的不好啊，我只是在学英文，我认为听写这种娱乐节目比听写BBS NEWS 要有趣一点（当然可能在难度上没有可比性），而且顺便也能造福一下别人，也许还是有不懂英文的同学的嘛，所以我也打算简单翻译一下。我会有听不懂的听错的地方，欢迎高手给我纠错。
2、我不算ZQ的粉，但是很爱spock，我以前只关心韩流明星，对欧美娱乐圈完全不熟悉。
3、我希望有人能关注，因为可以顺便监督我一下，不然我恐怕没那么自觉每天坚持做听写。但是我也怕有人关注，因为听错了或翻的不好会遭人嫌弃。
4、如果说这个视频已经有字幕组翻译过了，那希望有人能转给我啊，我也自查对比一下。

I am utterly thrilled to introduce tonight’s programme on the new work by Leonard Nimoy.

You all know Leonard Nimoy the actor, his success in Star Trek series gained him worldwide recognization. Since its debut in 1966, Nimoy’s character, Mr. Spock became international icon, his pertrial of the Vulcan won him 3 Amy anominations and legends of fans including myself.
大家都知道作为演员的Leonard Nimoy，他在《星际迷航》系列作品中的成功让他得到了世界范围内的知名度。自从1966年星际面世，Nimoy饰演的角色Spock成为了国际标志，成功饰演瓦肯人让他赢得了三次艾美奖提名及无数粉丝，包括我在内。

There are thousands of other facts about Leonard Nimoy that you may not know. He’s a multi-talented artist in many fields, and he produced works not only in theater or films, but also music, song writing, poetry, story-telling, and most figurely and most presently in fianance photography.
关于Leonard Nimoy还有无数东西你们可能并不知道。他是一个在许多领域具有多种才华的艺术家，他创作的作品不仅有剧院演出和电影，也有音乐、歌曲创作、诗歌、故事写作，以及最近的摄影。

Leonard’s photograph’s in many gallerys and museums of private collections including the Hammer Museum’s Collection. His photography on the subjets of feminist preference of god is published in the book shikina. His photo SM bad body image is titled the 4 body project. And his latest work, Secret Selves, was exhibited on Marsmoka in 2010.

Leonard’s new project, Secret Selves, looks at the hidden selves that we all carry within us. Sometimes there’re fantasy selves, sometimes there’re lost parts of ourselves that have been… have investitutes still berried in us.

The film you’re gonna see tonight, Leonard Nimoy really viewed much of his own secret self. You might assume his secret self is the fantasy version of the brilliant, rational and unemotional Mr. Spock, who happened to be my idol when I was growing up, still is. But to me, Leonard Nimoy’s secret self is the artist, and one of the warmest, funniest, most charming, and dare I say, he’s the handsomest man I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

As you’ll see tonight, he really reviews his personal side when he worked with this subject, they collaborate to make the portraits that are in the extraordinary called secret selves.

Tonight we gonna screen a film, and Leonard’s gonna come out , and set up what the film was about, and the film’s gonna run about 40 minutes, then he’s gonna come on stage and be interviewed by the actor Zach Quinto, who , as you know, portrays a younger version of Mr. Spock in the most recent film.

My photography work is conceptual, which is , I guess I choose the way I’m saying, I don’t go around and shoot what I see. I studied at UCLA with Robert Hanington, who was a great teacher, and assisted the work we were doing in his course, the humanity(?) nature.
我的摄影作品是概念性的。就是说，我不是走到哪看见什么拍什么。我在加利佛尼亚大学向Robert Hanington学习过摄影，他是个很好的老师，协助我们在他开设的课程上做作品。

So, I tried for a long time to figure out what the conceptual thing would mean to me , and I did it on cameras for quiet a long time. Eventually I began to find a path. The work I’ve done for the last around 14 years have been essentially…work I have to do with a specific idea. When I get the idea, then I get the cameras and go to work trying to express the idea, or as I say, the subject.
我花了很长时间去思考，概念性对我意味着什么，我也做了很久拍摄练习。最终我发现了自己的道路。我在过去大概14年中拍摄的作品本质上都是。。。有明确想法的作品。我先要有想法，然后再拿起相机努力表达这个想法，或者说，这个主题。

And they were discussing the human condition, and the subject of human ungust(?) came up, the subject that we have this uneasy feelings in our lives. There’re something missing, something not quiet in touch with, so, we all have certain kind of explanation or understanding of human ungust(?).
他们讨论到人类现状，提到一个话题，我们在生活中总是有不舒服的感觉。好像丢了什么东西，好像有什么东西感觉不对，我们总会按自己的理解做出某种解释。

In that condition, he said, humans became powerful and arrogant. I’ve been trying to figure out how can it be powerful and arrogant, stuck together like that. But this was the argument. And he said the God became disturbed by this arrogance and power, he became angry about it, he sent Ruth to solve the problem.
他说在那时人类强大而傲慢。我一直没想明白那样缠在一起怎么能强大又傲慢。但这种论调就是这么说的。他还说上帝被人类的傲慢与力量所扰，对此非常生气，派了Ruth来解决问题。

Ruth had a big sword, and split everybody in two, and sent them on different paths. And ever since then , he said , humans have felt some sense of seperation and the sense of being incomplete, and have been in search of the other part of themselves, to make themselves to feel whole again, to be reintegrated with themselves. To make themselves feel whole again.
Ruth用一柄巨剑将每人劈成凉拌，送上不同的道路。他说，从此人类就一直感觉到某种分离感，觉得不完整，始终在寻找自己的另一半，好让自己重新变得完整，再次成为一个整体。
