SHINee and Big Bang proved the two groups were closer than anyone would think.
On the April 15 broadcast of SBS’ Inkigayo, Big Bang’s Daesung and Seungri stepped up as special MCs for the show, along with its regular host IU. On the same day, SHINee’s Sherlock won the Mutizen Song, the no. 1 spot on Inkigayo’s charts, for three weeks in a row.
Seungri looked even happier than the SHINee members when they won the award. He shouted out “Jonghyun, Onew, come here,” and wrapped Jonghyun up in a big hug, and immediately followed up the hug with a shout saying, “Is today SHINee’s last performance? I don’t like that!”
Netizens who saw the broadcast said, ‘I knew they were best friends but that really looks great’, ‘That’s heartwarming’ and ‘We don’t like it being their last broadcast too!’
SHINee performed on Inkigayo for the last time this day, and plans to soon go into preparations for its next album.
