Sharona Fleming
Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram) is Adrian Monk's former personal assistant and nurse, a calming influence who helped him make it through the day. She was always on hand to offer her assistance when even the simplest of tasks became angst-ridden ordeals for Monk. An utterly dedicated employee who often became fiercely defensive when it came to her boss, she also became Monk's own "Girl Friday," an unlikely but effective Dr. Watson to his Sherlock Holmes. Sharona stopped working for Monk when she decided to move back to New Jersey and re-marry her ex-husband.
