"Let me do something for you Ngam,” Parote pleads. She remains silent as he wraps a scarf over her and brushes her hair. The sweet moment is short lived as Chalee and Sasi walk by. “I don’t want to interrupt you but I have an important business with Sasi.” Chalee turns over to Sasi and holds her hand, “Let’s go.” Part of the conversation is cut out probably due to an editing error. If you recall in episode 10, Chalee jabs at Ngam for choosing money over love. Ngam runs off after Chalee and Sasi leave. Figuring that Chalee is probably not in the mood to check out the theatre, Sasi decides to go home. Chalee offers to take her home.
Parote wants to take Ngam out for lunch but she tells him to go away. She’s upset by Chalee’s comments. Parote asks her “Isn’t a good thing he has changed.” She doesn’t like the person Chalee has changed into. She tells Parote, “True. Chalee has changed but he is not the same person I know. The old Chalee was never sarcastic. He never spoke like a heartless person, like you.” Jealous, Parote thinks Ngam still has feelings for Chalee and is regretting the breakup.
Ngam: “Yes, I’m sorry. I’m sorry he has a mean older brother like you and that’s why he has nothing to be proud of. Now he’s turned into a heartless person like you.”
Parote: “Stop it, Ngam. You have no right to insult me. Have you forgotten what we are?”
Ngam: “It’s only a fake show. There’s not even a little truth to it.”
Parote: “Even if it’s a just show, but you agreed to play in it. That’s why you need to act out the role till the end.”
Ngam: “But right now, no one is watching this show. No a single person. Because no one’s watching, I demand to play out of character.”
