We have been looking for a solution to the very unpleasant proliferation of "macro-operated-killers" in our game.
Since time was of the essence, we have decided to strike fast and to strike hard.
Our partners at Easy Anti-Cheat have just activated a full lock on any programmatic input. Bots will be inert now since their input will not be recognized.
It also means that a few very legitimate things will not work. Steam streaming is the main collateral damage of this.
We are working on a more surgical way to stop the bots but for now, we're happy to say that this horrible plague should go away.
We know this is a very intense answer to the problem, we thought the issue warranted that. Please let us know what you think.
