首先，火龙草最好群体种植。火龙草是价格优惠及大范围输出的必选植物，有了火龙草，会为以后的通关提供很大的方便。公认《植物大战僵尸》系列中最强悍的四种植物是：忧郁蘑菇、玉米加农炮、菜问和火龙草。使用火龙草时，要在其前面种植坚果墙。火龙草攻击距离近，攻击力也平平，所以不能快速杀死僵尸，这会导致坚果被僵尸损坏的较快，需及时更换。灵活使用能量豆救急，是成功的关键。当大片僵尸袭来时，可给坚果墙穿上铁甲，使其防御力倍增。或是让火龙草使出必杀绝技，喷出三昧真火，向前方区域内造成1800伤害！最好种两排以上的火龙草，这样能使一整列的僵尸受到强大伤害，在面对大量僵尸时，火龙草是你的不二选择。

背景资料编辑火龙草（Snapdragon，原指啮龙花）本意指玄参科金鱼草属植物，色彩艳丽可供观赏，其中dragon指“火龙”。因此其形象设计为花与火龙的结合。[1]

一）他的头长得像龙头，正如其名。·（二）火龙草的图鉴介绍中说“他梦想去海底世界一探究竟”，尽管在放大招时他所展现的是一头挥舞翅膀的火龙。
