Different boats (not sure how much is different with changing oil if that is all that they are doing) but same dealership. This was a posting I made in another thread. Of course when you read others are paying $1,500 for 100 hour service I do not complain. Of course it would be cheaper to do yourself but I have found when it comes to maintenance it usually cost me more down the road when I figure out what I broke trying to save $50.00.

Here is where I got to say again how much I appreciate our service department of Lake Wylie Marina. They do wonderful work and do not try and kill you in the process.
I think the 20 hour service which was basically an oil change was under $100.
The 100 hour service (unfortuately for us is just the end of year service as we have yet to hit 100 hours) which included pulling the drives and checking alignment as well as doing a 100 hour service on the trailer (basically regreasing everything and repacking the barrings) was under $300.00.
I think at $1500 I would be going with plan B.

The 20 hour service quote is what I remember from the "old" service staff. Brenda, the new service writer told me 160.00, for oil change only. Yea, I'm going to do it myself. I to think "we" Yourself, Dave, and I have a great dealership to work with , But...........maybe they need to make up for lost revenue???
I asked for a price quote to get "frayed knot" waxed and cleaned up. $20.00 a foot, or about $500.00 bucks for my boat. I guess I'm not that lazy, or maybe I'm that cheep.lol Thanks for the feed back everyone.
