Abstract Objective Observing theperformances of a new type medical sterilization wrinkle wrapping paper, toprovide a basis for the application of aseptic packaging. Methods Using physicochemicaland biological methods to test the penetrative quality of the wrapping paperfor the related factors. Results After exposed to the pressure steam at 132℃for 4 min, the biological indicators inside the paper were all sterilized. Themedical wrinkle paper could effectively block the penetration of Staphylococcusaureus under the wet condition and Bacillus subtilis var.niger spores under thedry condition. After exposed to the environment with temperature of 60℃ and RH of 75%～85%, this medical wrinkle wrapping paper could blockthe penetration of Staphylococcus aureus under the wet condition and Bacillussubtilis var.niger spores under the dry condition for 7 days. Conclusion This medical sterilization wrinkle wrapping paper met the requirementsof sterility test, and could be used as the wrapping paper for sterilized items.
