Hollywood is unusually hot and bothered over 19-year-old Scarlett Johansson - she is in line for a very rare double with two best actress nominations at the Golden Globes, writes Brett Thomas.
It's not unusual to see Hollywood getting all hot and bothered at the emergence of fresh, young, money-making talent, but even by its own easily excitable standards Tinseltown's reaction to 19-year-old Scarlett Johansson has been a little over the top.
In the past month, the New York-based actress has been the recipient of two awards which seemed to have been created specifically for her. At the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, she was given a special new generation award for her breakthrough roles in Lost In Translation and Girl With A Pearl Earring (to be released on March 11).
At the Palm Springs International Film Festival, she was presented with that event's very first Rising Star Award for the same performances.
