都市里的森林 Richmond Park

只看楼主收藏回复

Richmond Park is by far the largest Royal Park in London covering an area of 2,500 acres. It was created by Charles I in 1634 as a deer park and now has 630 red and fallow deer. Richmond Park has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve.
Richmond Park has changed little over the centuries and although it is surrounded by human habitation, the varied landscape of hills, woodland gardens and grasslands set among ancient trees abound in wild life.
From its heights there is an uninterrupted view of St Paul's Cathedral, 12 miles away.

All the above photos except the first one were taken today whilst I went for a walk in the park. All were taken spontaneously with a low quality mobile phone camera.

      好清静的公园。国内是很难见的。收费吗?
