They can kick out to Patterson an dMorris but what are they going to do?

If you kick out to Parsons you can live with him shooting threes...he MAY drive but then he's driving into the same crap that Lin and Harden just drove into.

Since: Feb 2006Posts: 1,194Member: #16422 My comment. The coaching staff has a system and wants its players to conform to the system, regardless of whether the player fits the system (or system fits the players), or whether the system is good or not.

We want to run PnRs with one of the worst PnR centers in the league (despite being one of the best defensively),

we want the PFs to hit corner 3s when they're more consistent spotting up mid-range (Patterson definitely, Morris you can look at his game in college),

Good lord, sometimes I have NO idea what's going through McHale's head. How terrible must D-Mo and TJones be in practice if they're STILL not getting time after such horrific performances by Morris and Patterson...:o

In other words, f' what the coaches say or do and just take the shot. If you get benched, they were going to bench you anyways. just no threes please.

Yao Ming also had issue catching the ball during his early career, but he improved his catch by going through exercises of catching tennis balls. Maybe Asik can try the same training method this summer.
