Channel 4's Ultimate Sitcom
On Friday 2nd January 2006, Channel 4 in the UK aired a show called 'The Ultimate Sitcom', in which they had polled comedians, TV critics, comedy actors and sitcom writers to find the Ultimate Sitcom - UK or US. The show informed us of the top 20, I've posted the below for those of you who didn't see the show (which was, by the way, very good).

Author Comments: I was very pleased with the #1, and #3 was also deserving. I've always found FT overrated though, and not seeing Only Fools and Horses (and maybe The Simpsons.. if it counts) was a disappointment.

我完全不知道这事。。我看 Frasier 就是喜欢一集集这么看下去， 完全不上论坛看这些演员的新闻的。
你讲了之后我特意去查了一下 Wiki， 他是 2007 出柜的。 而 Frasier 是 1993 - 2004. 如果在 Frasier 播放时期大家就知道他是 Gay 的话，真的很难去相信戏里他同 Daphne 的银幕爱情， 而他们的爱情是我在所有电视剧里最喜欢的（我对 Gay 完全无歧视）。 我记得以前有个女演员（Anne Heche）是同性恋， 她出柜之后就很少请她主演爱情戏的机会了。 后来她又变回异性恋，就又有机会演出爱情戏了。
此外，发现 David Hyde Pierce 是耶鲁大学的毕业生， 而且非常喜欢弹钢琴，一开始在耶鲁是学古典钢琴的。 后来他对音乐艺术史觉得没太大兴趣，又觉得自己不能花足够的练习时间去成为一流的钢琴家，于是便改修英语同戏剧，最后是英语、喜剧双学士毕业的（谢天谢地！）。 难怪他身上有一股阳春白雪的高贵气质呢。
