欣赏本周图片 The Birmingham Male is back and looking as good as ever. He has been spending his time in teh western sector of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve with his son/nephew, the Nkuhuma Male. The Birmingham Male has been seen for a few consecutive days now. Lets hope he stays. Two Ntsevu females sit watching a herd of wildebeest up ahead.

欣赏本周图片 Even with a few old injuries and limped walk, you cannot help but be mesmerized by his beautiful mane One of the very impressive Plains Camp Males feasts on his share of a waterbuck kill alongside the two young cubs born to the two Nkuhuma lionesses. The Mhangeni Lioness that has been spending time with the Tsalala Lioness definitely has brought this little pride into the spotlight as we cannot wait to see what unfolds for them going forward. A Nkuhuma cub takes notice of a few arriving Hooded Vultures, drawn in to the presence of the exposed carcass.

One of the Ndzhenga Males looking slightly battered and bruised watches a herd of impala in the distance as one of the males chases a female around.

欣赏本周图片 The Tsalala Female has been keeping well beneath the radar over the last few weeks, with sightings of her being few and far between. However, this particular morning last week we found her moving along the Sand River with a belly pretty full. Indicating that she is still thriving and keeping in fantastic condition.

欣赏本周图片 Finishing off last week we had a couple of amazing sightings of the Birmingham Male near the airstrip. We were lucky enough to follow him down to a waterhole for a drink. He subsequently managed to kill a young buffalo that evening and spent the next while feeding on that.
